We’re thinking about pregnancy in the next 6–12 months.
You’re healthy, maybe a little anxious, and you don’t know if you should “get checked” before trying. You want to avoid surprises and do this right.
- Preconception and fertility health check-ups (for both partners)
- Hormonal and ovarian reserve assessments
- Semen analysis and basic male fertility screening
- Lifestyle and risk factor counselling
How Mitra helps:
We’ve been trying for 6–12 months and are worried.
Your cycles may feel confusing. Every month is a mix of hope and disappointment. You’re not sure if it’s “too early” to see a doctor—but you also don’t want to waste time.
How Mitra helps:
- Cycle tracking and ovulation mapping
- Detailed female fertility work-up (hormones, scans, tubal assessment where needed)
- Male fertility evaluation (semen analysis, morphology, infection screening)
- Step-wise treatments like ovulation induction and IUI when appropriate
We’ve been told there are fertility issues.
You may have PCOS, low AMH, endometriosis, blocked tubes, low sperm count, or other known conditions. You’ve probably read a lot online and feel overwhelmed by conflicting information.
How Mitra helps:
- Second-look opinion on previous reports
- Advanced diagnostics to confirm what’s really limiting fertility
- Tailored treatment plans using IUI, IVF, ICSI, or FET only where necessary
- Clear explanation of success probabilities, timelines, and costs
We’ve tried treatments elsewhere and feel stuck.
We got your question
You may have undergone IUI/IVF cycles that failed or were cancelled. You’re emotionally drained and cautious about “trying again.”
How Mitra helps:
- Preconception and fertility health check-ups (for both partners)
- Hormonal and ovarian reserve assessments
- Semen analysis and basic male fertility screening
- Lifestyle and risk factor counselling
I’m not ready for pregnancy yet, but I want to preserve my options.
We got your question
You may be focusing on your career, aren’t sure about the right partner yet, or have a medical condition that could affect future fertility.
How Mitra helps:
- Egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation)
- Sperm freezing
- Embryo freezing for couples
- Counselling on timelines, success expectations, and planning
We’ve been told the issue is on the male side.
We got your question
There may be low count, low motility, or abnormal morphology. Often, men feel blamed or sidelined in the process.
How Mitra helps:
- Dedicated male fertility work-ups
- Infection screening and treatment
- Guidance on lifestyle, medications, and supplements where evidence supports them
- Coordinated treatment planning (IUI, IVF/ICSI) that respects both partners

Questions you might be afraid to ask (but should).
What fertility services do you offer?
We offer fertility consultations, female & male fertility testing, ovulation support, IUI, IVF/ICSI, fertility preservation (egg/sperm/embryo freezing), and support for recurrent pregnancy loss—based on what your diagnosis needs.
When should I visit a fertility doctor?
If you’ve been trying for 12 months (or 6 months if you’re 35+), have irregular periods, known PCOS/endometriosis, prior miscarriages, or male fertility concerns, it’s best to consult sooner.
What happens in the first appointment?
You’ll discuss your history, goals, and timelines. Then you’ll get a step-by-step plan—what tests to do first, what treatments are suitable, and what the expected timeline looks like.
Do both partners need evaluation?
In many cases, yes. Testing both partners early helps avoid delays and makes the treatment plan more accurate.
Which fertility tests are commonly recommended?
It depends, but may include:
Hormone tests + ovarian reserve assessment
Ultrasound scans to evaluate uterus/ovaries
Ovulation assessment
Tubal evaluation (if needed)
Semen analysis for male partner
Your doctor will recommend only what’s relevant.
What’s the difference between IUI and IVF?
IUI: Prepared sperm is placed into the uterus around ovulation.
IVF: Eggs are fertilized in the lab and an embryo is transferred to the uterus.
Your plan depends on age, diagnosis, and how long you’ve been trying.
How long does IVF take?
An IVF cycle often takes 2–6 weeks, depending on your protocol. In some cases, embryos may be frozen and transferred in a later cycle.
Can we choose embryo freezing or a “freeze-all” approach?
Yes—your doctor may recommend freezing embryos first in certain situations (hormone response, uterine lining timing, medical reasons), and planning transfer later for better readiness.
Do you support fertility preservation?
Yes. Egg, sperm, or embryo freezing may be considered if you want to delay parenthood, before certain medical treatments, or for future planning flexibility.
